runBlossom Goes Virtual - April 16-May3

Picture
For 16 years, the annual runBlossom race has helped usher in the summer season in Cañon City. As the snow melts and the leaves begin to adorn trees, runners of all ages come together to celebrate the Cañon City Music and Blossom Festival. Due to COVID-19 "stay at home" orders and continued support for the health and well-being of our city, state, and country, we will not be hosting a traditional race this year. Nevertheless, we stand by our commitment to promoting health and wellness in our community. We believe that being outdoors is essential to the mental and physical health of our community, and we hope that participants will enjoy this new version of the race. We encourage all participants to both enjoy a healthy run / walk in the outdoors while also engaging in social distancing and appropriate safety measures.

Please feel free to join in from wherever you live. Because this is a virtual event, you can run / walk a trail, street, or back road from any corner of the globe. We'll send out t-shirts after May 3rd and can send them across the US and beyond!
